In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Travok alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. A true patriot, Bidreked would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: The child of a Animal Trainer, who enjoyed hunting, Bidreked was taken on many hunting expeditions. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Carter. He became a Carter soon after.

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the north. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Dilettante and was forced into it by her family.

Description: An older man who wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress), he is not a threatening figure. His hair is silver and curly. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter.

Description: With blue face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized grey coat. His black hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His eyes are violet.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.
