History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Heian was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Crown-heir but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: Kadana was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Kadana was born on a far southern forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Crown-heir. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When Fragrant reached his early adolescence his Tabaxi mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and he is content
