History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Megren alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has achieved small success as a Mayor.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has achieved small success as a Unemployed.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: She was raised in a desert tribe. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shortspear.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and she is unsatisfied with her job
