History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Matilda was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Through the years after Matilda was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Matilda's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Bryseis was born the youngest of three triplets. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

History: She was born in a small forest village. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and retire the richest woman in the north
