History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Junk Dealer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Halander was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.
