History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Alvyn reached his early adolescence his Gnome mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Barakas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A freak accident while working with his Marshal mother left him crippled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
