History: The child of a Miner, who enjoyed hunting, Hlin was taken on many hunting expeditions. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Hlin took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up falchion and armor she uses now. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. The war was a terrible time for her, and Nala does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: Vrondiss was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ekemon fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
