History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Jeweler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. In her journeys she found a malevolent artifact. She wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Animal Trainer but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. A gifted student he started as a Merchant, but he got bored and became a Animal Trainer. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Dwarven artifacts is her passion; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. Burgell is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Burgell lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
