Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She now mingles about in high society.

Description: He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. He has styled his chestnut hair well, parting it to the left. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When Gubu reached his early adolescence his Half-Orc father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Her scarlet crest is unkempt and raggedy. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. The war was a terrible time for her, and Nala does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Engraver who has hired her part-time. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with her Sailor mother left her crippled. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Sailor. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: She's attracted to the PC; and wants to work out more often

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and to protect his home
