History: Born to a Carpenter, his father struggled to pay the bills. When Nelkin reached his early adolescence his Halfling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Personality: He is a Interpreter first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Aerdeth is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and further expansion of business

Description: Her skin has the orange glow of too much sun. She wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. She sports a flattop hair cut. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs.

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the south.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sculptor. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He wants to get laid; and wants his loneliness to end
