History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Rurik took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up monstrous two handed axe and armor he uses now. History: She was born into a rich family. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

History: Melissa hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Her parents enrolled her in a Monk school at a young age so that she could practice her necromantic talents. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
