History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Engraver work with an outfit from a few towns over. Engraver work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against orcs

History: Valanthe was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She worked as a nervous Barber and found it very stressful. She has taken up work as a Barber and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and sabotage a competitor

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
