Description: 6'4" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He typically wears black cloth garments or leather armor. His long black crest is drawn into a two foot long braid. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Kerkad is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Description: 3'3" and muscular, this southern man wears bulky white painted plate armor. His blonde hair is matted, messy, and big. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes brigands are coming to abduct people. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. At some point she was captured by brigands and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Many brigands want her driven away.

Description: This malnourished man has the majority of his body covered in plate. He keeps his silver hair in a flapper bob. His amber eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: He is a Lamia in disguise. A freak accident while working with his Ruler mother left him crippled. He now owns his own business.
