History: She was born in a small forest village. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a old dungeon. She would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Vani took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up longbow and armor she uses now. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: She was raised in a forest tribe. Sarai was born on a far southern forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Detective. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: To end her boredom; and many dire rats want her driven away

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Born to a Mason, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

History: Caelynn was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Tanner. She now mingles about in high society.
