History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. After a long history of fighting, Arjhan and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Aelar was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Pikar was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs
