History: The child of a Bricklayer, who enjoyed hunting, Numba was taken on many hunting expeditions. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature kukri.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Zanna embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Wants her loneliness to end; and she is wracked by social anxiety

Description: A woman with a calm yet intense air about her, she wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. With bright chestnut hair. Her brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. A true patriot, Heather would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Heather was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He's also a talented Shepherd, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing his hectic life and new body guard responsibilities is difficult

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.
