History: Born in the north to a Shoemaker, Bathin learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His childhood dream was to be a Scribe, but he was a colossal failure. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He tends to his Navigator job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and further expansion of business
