History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Half-Orc, and stands approximately 6'10". He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it, and his gloved hand is found clutching a dagger. His long golden hair reaches down to his waist. His gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Ugol was raised in a hard working conservative environment. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and further expansion of business

Description: This woman is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright brown and white, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. She is muscular with a powerful set of arms. She has wavy brown hair. Her eyes are green and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Eva wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Miner business.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Description: He wears a white cloak and cross-gartered green stockings. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his sword, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a skull on it. His golden hair is matted, messy, and big. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines amber.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: Shadow speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Barber arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he has money and likes to spend it
