History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Emmeline was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Like her mother and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Barber. She's also a talented Courier, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He found a children's book about a Half-Orc Warrior who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: Quilla was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she is unsatisfied with her job

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.
