History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered singing. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He married young, but lost his spouse to orcs. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and many orcs want him driven away

Personality: This woman loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Nija was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A freak accident while working with his Apothecary mother left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.
