Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Courier. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Born to a Masseuse, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is his passion.

Description: A woman of a pale complexion, she wears a worn and beaten armor. Her hair is cut close to her head. Her green eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She never wears the same outfit twice, unless she absolutely has to.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it
