Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Fonkin hails from a village terrorized by giants. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has achieved small success as a Barber.

His brown eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: Roland wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Adept, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Roland grew up listening to his mother's many stories. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Carter. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Sporting a golden mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His half smiles and green eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying north to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
