History: River hails from a village terrorized by orcs. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting orcs, the young River began to lead the lost caravan. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Carrie was born with his father's beautiful face. His druidic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Carrie fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
