Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Born to a Bookbinder, his father struggled to pay the bills. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Alston was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: Ugol was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He worked as a nervous Fisher and found it very stressful. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ugol fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
