Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. His hair is black and curly. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature kukri.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She plays an instrument quite well.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and she is greedy

Personality: She is a Guard first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Banker profession.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. A gifted student she started as a Banker, but she got bored and became a Guard. She has worked as a Guard like her father before her.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Krusk was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he wants revenge against illithids
