History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Kadana was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Kadana alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
