He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Through the years after Traubon was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Traubon's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: Gifted from a young age, Gerard studied abroad. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Stableman for hire.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud
