Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He is wearing a long, red, dusty cloak. His black hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are hazel.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ortegar embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ortegar grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ortegar. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Ruler. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Description: He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his hand crossbow, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a cross on it. His blonde hair is long and unkept. He has gray eyes and a violet hat with a tan feather.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. The war was a terrible time for him, and Suhnae does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Through the years after Suhnae was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Suhnae's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: She appears as an extremely gaunt Human, and stands approximately 5'4". She is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time, and her gloved hand is found clutching a trident. Her red hair is still thick. Her fierce green eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Sarah grew up listening to her father's many stories. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends.

Description: He prefers to wear black pants and tee shirts, and he perpetually has his shortspear ready. His blonde hair is matted, messy, and big. His eyes are hazel and catlike.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: He was born into a rich family. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Description: 6'4" and lanky with angular features, she is an attractive figure. She has a large black mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into her violet robe. Her hair is dark red and curly. Her skin is flawless and her red eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and seeks redemption
