History: Vanchu hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and money/treasure

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

History: He comes from a rich southern family. Through the years after Shane was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Shane's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Tiefling artifacts is his passion.
