History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the north. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Some 7 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Moon never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and to reunite with her old friends
