History: He was born at the edge of vast island. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Portia grew up listening to her father's many stories. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.
