She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Veloptima alone in the world. History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Masseuse work with an outfit from a few towns over. Masseuse work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She now owns her own business.

Description: This woman stands a little under 2'9" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She is generally shirtless and showing off her tattooed chest. She sports blonde long hair. Her fierce amber eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: She is cool and collected. She likes to make quips and puns whenever she does anything. She also makes a point to compliment her superiors and flatter them. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Portia was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Portia decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Description: She is an exceptionally muscular looking western young adult. She is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright black and red, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. Beneath her clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. She has dyed her greying chestnut hair a little too much giving a sharp chestnut color. Her skin is flawless and her violet eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.

History: She is a Doppelganger in disguise. Her first spouse was a Slave Trader, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

His red hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a deerstalker hat. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When Gardain reached his early adolescence his Dwarf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He now mingles about in high society.
