Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Drifting lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born in a small forest village. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She's also a talented Mercenary, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Description: This light-skinned female wears a simple brown robe with tan stripes complete with hood. She is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. Her brown hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a deerstalker hat. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Weaver who has hired her part-time. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Joan alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Servant. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she would like to get married and retire

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and to share knowledge with the world
