History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Tordek was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
