History: Volen hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Through the years after Volen was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Volen's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Salasar wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Fighter, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Salasar grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Dragonborn companion (his 'brother'). He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: Born to a Slave Trader, her mother struggled to pay the bills. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

History: Herleva was born with her father's beautiful face. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and a strong sense of loyalty to dragonborn people

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.
