History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Qemuel was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 4 years.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Miller. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Some 4 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Bethrynna never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Elven conditions. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
