Personality: He is happy with his job as a Dyer. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. She never wears the same outfit twice, unless she absolutely has to.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and a strong sense of loyalty to halfling people

History: Sora was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

She worked as a nervous Carter and found it very stressful. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
