History: Torbera lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. The family's rival house kidnapped her sister with the intent that her sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Through the years after Birel was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Ar-Beka was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Seamstress. After a long history of fighting, Ar-Beka and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. At a young age his mother died while driving off some illithids. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in sickle use. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Fargrim was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of orcs may trigger it at times.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her father. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day
