Description: This southern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Rurik lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Dalgal alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
