Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: She has a crush on the local Animal Trainer; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: Patrick hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his singing career. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Crown-heir arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
