History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Kite fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Emmeline was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.
