History: Pennie was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Druid, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Druid in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She found a children's book about a Halfling Druid who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

The war was a terrible time for him, and Randal does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born in a small forest village. He married young, but lost his spouse to illithids. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Prosperine was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Prosperine was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Elven companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Golm alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and a strong sense of loyalty to elven people
