His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Banker. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Description: He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. He carries a battered greataxe and tarnished scimitar as well. His brown hair is thinning but still full. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Halander took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up scimitar and armor he uses now. He bought a scimitar and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
