History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bertram fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Dabbledob hails from a village terrorized by brigands. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Dabbledob was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Dabbledob was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
