History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Bookbinder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside her partner. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: Born in the south to a Merchant, Richard learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has achieved small success as a Merchant.
