History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. The war was a terrible time for him, and Elaim does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Elaim was born with his father's beautiful face. A gifted student he started as a Bounty Hunter, but he got bored and became a Server. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Server for hire.

Motivation: To be a Bounty Hunter again; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: An older man who wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society, he is not a threatening figure. He has a very tight haircut. He has brown eyes and a tan hat with a blue feather.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Tiefling, and stands approximately 5'0". He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it, and his gloved hand is found clutching a falchion. He has styled his white hair well, parting it to the left. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Astar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: She has a missing left arm. She likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. Her red hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. She has gleaming, smiling blue eyes.

Personality: She hates Elves with a passion. As such she is filled with self loathing. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has dedicated herself to building a better world.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
