His mother taught him the rudiments of the Cartwright arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Stableman work with an outfit from a few towns over. Stableman work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and wants to raise his children well

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears white painted combat armor at almost all times. His feathered hat is riddled with cuts and holes. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Orcs became a terror of the countryside. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Ûkbûk hails from a village terrorized by goblins. His childhood dream was to be a Architect, but he was a colossal failure. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Expand his business; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
