History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. In her 19th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. In her journeys she found a malevolent artifact. She wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the east. Her childhood dream was to be a Carter, but she was a colossal failure. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Wants her loneliness to end; and someone believes her a fraud

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Quillathe was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her childhood dream was to be a Bather, but she was a colossal failure. Recently the stress of being a Soapmaker has made it difficult for her to sleep.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. The war was a terrible time for him, and Spring does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Spring was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he feels kind of lost in life
