Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Born in the south to a Spice Merchant, Nalaed learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying south to reunite her family. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: With black face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he prefers to wear flannel. He wears a broad hat to hide his balding. His white eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Leucis took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up shortbow and armor he uses now. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her mother. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.
