History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Merla was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. When Merla reached her early adolescence her Halfling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Through the years after Anne was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Anne's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Servant for hire.
